What is the 411 on 988?

I recently learned that a fellow friend and colleague’s daughter was instrumental in developing the brand new 988 Suicide line.

The new three-digit dialing code will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a United States-based suicide prevention network of over 160 crisis centers that provides 24/7 service via a toll-free hotline with the number 9-8-8.

It is available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.

Mental Health assistance has become a top concern and priority for employers today.  It is such a wonderful program for so many in need.
