Paul Nichols

Following his graduation from Davidson College Paul, spent 16 years coaching in college athletics. During this time, he was the Head Football Coach at Davidson for five seasons and, most recently, assisted on Coach Paul Johnson’s Georgia Tech staff. These experiences have provided Paul with a unique insight into pursuing excellence, teamwork, and relationship building.

Paul’s experiences on the athletic field and his desire to engage with young people have led him to be a volunteer coach at Northside Youth Organization (NYO), Peachtree Road Methodist, and Peachtree Presbyterian. He has also created gratuitous community football clinics for a great many Atlanta youngsters.

Among his professional pursuits, Paul has become an expert in the design and implementation of employee benefit programs for independent schools.

Paul is a Dunwoody, GA native and a Marist School (’99) alumnus. He is married to Lauran (Lovett ’00 and Davidson ’04). The couple has three sons – Drew, Jack, and Will.
